Baron de L is the largest cuvée of Baron de Ladoucette's estates and one of the best in Pouilly Fumé. From the best terroirs, the Baron de L is revealed in brilliant gold colors, the nose reveals fine notes of flowers and white fruit.

De Ladoucette Baron de L is a white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc, AOC Pouilly-Fumé and produced by De Ladoucette.

Since the end of the 18th century, the largest and most famous Pouilly-Fumé vineyards have been in the hands of De Ladoucette's ancestors, the counts of Lafond. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette is the current heir to this ancient tradition. He continues to run this legendary house and to develop some of the best wines in the region.

The vineyards of De Ladoucette Baron de L are established on clay soils. This wine is made exclusively from the first pressing musts. To obtain a clean fermentation devoid of unpleasant odors, the musts are settled by decantation before fermentation. The wine ferments at low temperature, around 14 ° C. It ages on the lees in glass tanks with ceramic coating for 8 to 10 months. Finally, the wine is stored on its fine lees for 15 months before being bottled.

De Ladoucette Baron de L is considered one of the greatest representatives of Sauvignon Blanc in the world.
